The change followed a weeks long boycott campaign, organized by Trump activist group called, "GRAB YOUR WALLET". The group demanded the department store giant cease doing business with the president or his family. Shannon Coulter, who runs GRAB YOUR WALLET, celebrated Nordstrom's decision as a milestone the campaign.

Actually we had a similar experience. For our wedding we got a set of really ugly Onyx horse head book ends from a relative and they came in a Nordstrom's box. We took them back. After a long time of the store trying to find the book ends in their inventory, they had to finally tell us that the book ends did not come from Nordstroms. BUT they offered us a $10 store credit for them. We took it.
And a bunch of us just dropped Nordstrom.
That would be a hoot.
At least NBC didn’t tie in the “grab your wallet” campaign and the comment from the director. WAPO specifically cited how pleased GYW was that their campaign against Ivanka Trump was successful. They further elaborated in the article how GYW became active upon the 2005 comments made by Trump regarding sexual abuse of women. (Paraphrased)
In the Midwest it can be replaced by Von Maur.
She can sell them at a online store. Eventually those foolish box stores will close their doors.
They are already getting quite a bit of flak over this on their Facebook pages. Try that.

Ok then I will never order from them again.....
One of the reasons I buy from them. Whether it is the Rack in Oxnard or somewhere else, their website, the Rack website, or even the HauteLook website, you can return it anywhere no questions asked.
I don’t try stuff on. I buy it and take it home then if it doesn’t fit return it. I do the same with jewelry and handbags. If it’s not comfy back it goes.
Makes shopping easier for me. They also have great sales. I have some $200 tops that I paid $9.99 for off their clearance.
Don’t know why but I really like a lot of Vince Camuto stuff and they have it on clearance a lot.
Just gave them a few FU’s on their website and FB.....I don’t care, hoping their sales will tank.....
Other stores will pick it up, and she could probably sell a ton of the dresses online to conservatives, too.
Comments on Nordstrom’s facebook page are overwhelmingly negative about their decision.
Most point out what a classy, successful, and worthy role model Ivanka is, and shame Nordstrom for their pandering to the left.
No more Nordies for me, then.
So what’s your point?
Who let them know? Should I let them know?
Thanks for the link.
So what’s your point? The topic is the boycott of Ivanka Trump’s clothing.
“So whats your point?”
I won’t shop at Nordstrom now, but I never did in the past so it’s not a very costly protest for me.
My relative who has high position at Nordstrom is a huge POTUS supporter. Relative truly believes it was a financial decision, reminding me that the store stood firm against pressure to drop the line during the election process. Relative believes the lefty boycott may have led to decreased sales, prompting the business decision.
