The Ten Commandments don't apply to the church today.

We have a new commandment " This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."

The early Church was attacked by those who wanted to bring them back under the law....not much has changed today.

As I asked someone yesterday, which of the 10 commandments can you ignore or break and still meet the standards of the commandment you cite. And there are 2 commandments cited by Jesus: 37Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’c 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’d 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
