The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
To invent false stories like this, is not just an attempt to undermine Trump, it is an attempt to create friction with allies and foreign powers, and an attempt to undermine our nations national security.
If it’s a mole, it’s probably from the NSA. The CIA would probably not have access to these. I am sure they have some foreign leaders bugged, but not ALL of them.
Mole traps will put an end to their mischief. Brutal devices though they are.
I have it on the best of authority that these two are their sources:
Whatever is going on is being done for a reason, but i will back up Trump if he tells Australia to keep their illegal immigrants and to not send them to the US like Obama said he would.
I certainly hope President Trump DID push back the Aussies on these 1,250 “refugees”.
Why on earth must the US take into our communities “refugees” that are so terrible that Australia is unwilling to keep them?
This is lame duck Obama giving the big FU to Americans and Australia should know better than going along with it.
Does Australia really want to sour relations with the US just so they can grab on to an Obama FU?
How about Australia simply send these “refugees” back to the lands they came from?
Why use anything from “BEZOS’” rag?
If these refugees are so bad that Australia is unwilling to keep them and is trying to shift them onto the USA, then that is not the action of a friend and President Trump is right to view it as a hostile act.
Thanks for the comments. Good points.
John Batchelor Show reporting it now, on WMAL/DC, in light of heightened Chinese aggression in Asia.
I suspect you’re right.
I agree. Wouldn’t that be clever.
The whole thing is bizarre. Like the US sending some Venezuelans or whatever to Australia. Friends don’t refugee dump on each other.
Not that this is true, but there is always a chance that some of the former scum left some bugs, computer virus code or similar things in place so they could eavesdrop. I would scan the hell out of the place and throw away all the computers and phones.
I don’t know exactly what Trump said to Turnbull but the rumors here in Canberra in the days after the call (but before this article) were along the lines of it not being a happy conversation. Take it for what you will but it is clear Trump was not happy with Obama’s deal with Turnbull.
The problem with the deal was that everything was worked out before the election with the assumption that Hillary would win (our political establishment is even less in touch with the American public than their American counterparts). Rather than pulling the plug on the deal once Trump won, they plowed on hoping to use the lame duck period to get it done.
A lot of Trump’s good will towards Australia got burned up because of this unwise deal.
Trump could also just call Comey and tell him he can take whatever steps he wants, but if there is another leak he’ll be fired...publicly...and he can expect the Session DOJ to knock on his door with questions over obstruction of justice in the hillary case.
Having said that, Australia is a true ally. This is yet another "hand me down mess"!
...according to senior U.S. officials briefed on the Saturday exchange...
Fake News
I gotta say, the account sounds right to me. They are playing up that trump doesn’t want these “refugees” that Australia stuck on an island (ironic).
I don’t blame Trump at all.
Thought experiment. Let’s suppose Trump started voicing concern about the Obama deal and he got aggressive push back. Do you think he would shrink like a wall flower? I don’t. And I don’t want him to either.
I suspect that trump got agitated at the response to his concerns and voiced his opinions about the deal. Period. The end. Thank you Mr. President and keep it up.
