Draining the swamp is a messy job

Yes it is! To use the cliché from the 1970s, "When you're up to your a$$ in alligators, it's hard to remember your original intention was to drain the swamp."

But I think we've elected a pretty good alligator exterminator with a staff that knows all the dark hiding places within the bureaucracy. We need to get Tom DeLay back on the job. Not only did he run a pest control company before becoming a Congressman, he was known by the nickname "The Exterminator" as well as "The Hammer" for his work in slimming down government.
