Dont show up, dont get to vote. Sounds fair to me.It's not like the GOP held a secret midnight vote. Nor did they take the other path of having the sergeant at arms round up the missing committe members.
The Dems thought it was so cute when they hopped on bus over the state line in Wisconsin to hold things up that they thought they'd try it here.

The scary thing about this is that to understand it requires common sense. The republicans in congress appear to be temporarily using common sense. How long will that last? Congressional republicans don’t have a huge love affair with common sense. They are often completely estranged from it.
But... let’s see how long the current situation will hold.
