You can just guess what it was like following the news via Swedish/European MSM - delayed , well masticated and digested news stories from the US MSM alphabet soup.
Imagine the response I got when I told my colleagues in autumn 2015 that Trump was very likely to win the GOP primaries, and if he was pitted against Clinton he would win. They almost sent me to the psychiatric ward. Got a lot of questions whether I had changed my mind during the campaign, but no. And then the glorious November 8. Lots and lots of open mouths and dropped jaws. He, he!

My daughter in the Cayman’s also predicted the same and told all her touring Americans, Canadians and Europeans. She was right because she knew that the Christian Right were going to support him 100% and that they would VOTE. She never wavered and she sent his campaign quite a bit of money.
Like you, she had a lot of amazed people quizzing her!
Ha! I work with Europeans, and during the campaign let them know I was a Trumpster. They dis’d me for it, gave me ‘that look’, made fun of Trump. Now, they say absolutely nothing about him. Silence.
