I think it is too late for that.
The left taking over the Democrat Party started in 1972.
The McGovern Commission on party reform wrote a whole new set of rules for choosing the presidential nominee. Who better to get the nomination in 1972 than the person who knew all the rules inside and out. He knew them because he wrote em!

Clinton was an anomaly.

If you read The Fabian Freeway: High Road to Socialism in the U.S.A., you see that the Socialist International started taking over the Democrat Party long before that, even before Woodrow Wilson and Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt gave them a big ol' boost. It is one of the most valuable books I've ever read in explaining how we got to our present low state and how long and slowly the Left was willing to go in order to overtake Christianity, our Constitution, the family and all traditional institutions in this country.

You are correct in seeing that the present Democrat party is no longer American in any sense of the word as regards our Constitution. They are enemies of our Constitution and proud of it.

Clinton was an anomaly. So was Obama, he had to lie and lie to fool the American citizens to get in the White House. Now we really know who and what the Dems are. Israel and America haters.
