On the whole, I would agree with this article, however, after last weekend, not so much. The temporary travel ban on Muslims has not been handled very well. There have been a lot of people caught mid-transit and unprepared. It didn’t have to be so chaotic and confusing. The restrictions are fine, but the defiant judges need to be quickly overruled, and any confusion needs to be ironed out asap. I know Trump is not an experienced politician, but I expected more from his team.
You know what though?
The government can at any time for any reason revoke someone's green card and send them home.
It's a PRIVILEGE to be allowed in this country if you are not a citizen, not a right.
I'm a little mixed on banning people who were already in the air, but just because they can't get what they expect is no reason to cave. It's too bad their plans are disrupted but life happens.
They are guests here and have a home to go to. They're not being made homeless by this action.
My first thought was that someone dropped the ball.
But then I reconsidered.
I think Team Trump did it precisely this way to throw the SJW warriors and ACLU types into a tizzy and get it to the courts quick so the legality of the EO is dealt with and he gets a quick win.
Each quick and easy win strengthens his hand and makes the left leery of running to the courts again.
The press, SJW types, demonrat officeholders and pundits will someday realise President Trump not only plays hardball, he has his game planned out far in advance and they can’t do a damned thing about it. Just react as he has expected they would.
Game, Set, Match.
Just MHO.
