In a real business, a CEO who is as much of a political hack as Goodell would be fired by the Board of Directors by now.

That he has not been fired shows you where the NFL really stands.

If NASCAR did this, they would be history by now.

To Goodell, it is about the agenda, not the game of football.

He cares not one whit about the fans.

IMHO, it is time American men grew up and stopped wearing numbered jerseys with someone else’s name on them.

I gave up watching professional sports in my 20s, almost 40 years ago.

These overpaid ball handlers care not one iota about any of you—witness Kapernick.

And neither does the head office.

Goodell has been a Left agenda supporter for years.

Why reward any of them with your hard earned dollars?

I’m glad to know that at least one other person thinks along the same lines as me in this case.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. It does look rather sad for a grown man to wear a sports jersey or shirt with another man's name on it. Seems rather emasculating. Gives the impression that the wearer is not manly enough on his own and needs to "borrow" manliness from somebody else.

A woman can make it work though. If a woman wears a shirt with my name on it, I might be flattered.
