As a student of History I can’t help but see a lot of Churchill in Trump. Bucking up the Troops during the Blitz. A Strong leader that is not afraid to strengthen the spine, and call out the enemy.

Ultimately, you may be correct (history does repeat).
In times of strife, The People vote in a leader whom knows how to get ‘things done’.
Then they quickly jettison all logic\reason for a return of stupidity\FREE-shit.
Hopefully, DT, not being beholden to another, can take us back ~100 yrs. and make the Marxists begin anew (The People having learned jack sh!t though).
Amazing the restoration the man has done in 5 days that NO other (R) even payed lip service.
I see the Churchill in him now that you mention it.
I always thought it was a chicken sh*t thing Obama did, by sending the Churchill bust back to England, and the media didn’t call him out on this.
Here’s my prediction.
There’s a lot of dirt on Obama. For all we know, he worked for the CIA. Fact is, the Russians, the Israelis and the Brits know enough about the guy, that if he meddles too much in the Trump admin, he’ll get a very discrete but clear message that he will be outed.
In addition to that I predict two more things.
There will be a Clinton Foundation indictment. It’s so damn obvious what they were pulling there. I mean, the money dries up as soon as she not in the public eye any more. IOWs they weren’t donating money for the common good.
And secondly, the tell all books that will be coming out on Obama are going to be embarrassing. We’ve had a little picture already of the guy’s laziness and his stupidity.
The comparison between the two men is striking.
I don’t think Obama did anything spontaneous in any of his dealings. Every meeting, every presser was staged.
Trump is running the country like a business. It’s amazing.
but long over due.
Fortunately, Trump is NOT Churchill.
I do not know why Churchill gets as free pass for Yalta, where he enthusiastically backed the plan to sacrifice 100 million European Christians to Stalin’s Hellish regime.
True, the Americans were led at the treaty conference by terminally ill FDR, and at least one of the chief negotiators was an actual Soviet agent. But (allegedly drunken) Churchill sang Stalin’s praises.
Yalta was one of the most vile and pathetic actions in history.
Chamberlain ceded the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia, filled with Germans sliced away by Versailles and wanting to return to Germany. For this, he is damned by History as APPEASEMENT.
Give me a break! What Churchill did was INFINITELY WORSE.
