Yeah, just like the Quebec Separatists, who figured out they’d go broke several months after winning.

So, how does this (does this) affect the State of Jefferson? Seems to me that it really legitimizes their efforts too. Double edged swords and all that.

California companies and their employees would leave the state in droves (in addition to those who have already left). It would be an economic disaster of epic proportions.

The dreams of a liberal utopia would quickly turn into a nightmare. But if they want to leave, I’m all for it!

“They would instantly go broke.”

Beg to differ with you. I live out here and can tell you we already are broke. But, I get your point. The state would be unable to function without federal funds.

The whole thing is a farce. The south is STILL recovering from when they tried it.

GO broke? Hell, they already are!

Maybe if they leave, some of the Californicators who have left the people’s republic [of California] would return from Montana, Colorado, Arizona, etc.

They’d go broke unless the democrats get return to power. Then I the ‘nation ‘ of Kalifornicastan would get billions in aid from the US taxpayer.

"They would instantly go broke"

Uh, no; they'd be instantly incorporated back into Mexico.

California is a net contributor of federal funds.

Didn’t this pretty much fail in 1861?

My thought:

Go ahead & take that vote !!!!!

There are so many NON-ELIGIBLE voters actively voting in
Calif, that the illegals from Mexico can vote to separate Calif from the USA, and then those who believe in La
Raza can take over........

California has deliberately encouraged illegals & intruders to register & vote. This could be the largest backlash ever in the history of the USA.

Keep a population that is primarily TAKERS & NOT PAYERS/MAKERS and see how long you last.

Having fled California partly because of the high number of illegals who made me feel very UNSAFE-—I will laugh & laugh. I have ONE more couple to get out of Calif-—this would get them out.
