Glad you brought that up. It is an extremely important point. Of course I care ... especially about the poor innocents in these countries. But it is THEIR country. I think we have to find ways to install dictators in these hellholes to keep some semblance of order. But I have said for a long time that we need to reword the Powell doctrine to read "If we break it THEY fix it. " We quickly decimate these terrorist organizations and just leave ... and then come back later as needed to break it again.
Recognizing that "breaking it" involves killing a bunch of young Americans.
