Why do we need a full out trade war?
All we need is a wall paid by the mexicans. We don’t need a price increase of 20% that WE end up paying.
Of course I fully realize that this is Trumps opening stance on the negotiations that are to follow, so I take it with a grain of salt.

Even having Mexico pay for the wall means our products from Mexico will be more expensive. You see, Mexico will have to tax to get that money and that tax will need to be compensated in some way.

We are already paying MORE that 20 percent extra...with the cost of crime the stress on education the drain on the economy ....we will save alot more that we will pay. 20 percent is a bargain and hey....just by 20 percent less from Mexico.....Making America Great Again won’t be easy.
There was money allocated to pay for the damn wall under Bush. Where is THAT money? There is so much waste in our Government I believe we can manage to come up with the money from the waste alone to pay for it. Just build the damn thing!
