These are mostly political appointees whose jobs were going away in short order. They are just trying to generate negative turmoil and headlines by resigning before their replacements have been lined up.

These are not the people who actually do the work and life will go on... and probably more smoothly than when they were mucking up the system.

Keith Laumer and other sci-fi writers have published alien relations farces for decades - which turned out to be thinly disguised retellings of some of the absolute stupidity those authors experienced in the Foreign Service.

DOS has been screwing the US since at least the 1900s.

Yes we do have more work to do; let’s make sure none of them end up in some other agency somewhere .. allowing them to compare notes and to adopt attacks against other agencies.

Can you tell I don’t trust these people ..?????????

Here is a good one gone:

"Victoria Nuland will be remembered for being behind at least a dozen coups around the world, with the most famous being of course in Ukraine.

She is also responsible for the fiasco in Lybia, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, the very successful coups in Bulgaria where a new Government was installed three times in fourteen months, and is behind the unsuccessful coups in Hungary and Macedonia to name just a few."

Hey, they should get together with Whoopi, Rosie and everyone else who “threatened” to move to Canada and chip in to charter their own damn private jets. They might get a group rate.

State has had the two most juvenile partisan snippy little brats as spokeswomen - let’s just say it’s rather obvious the senior management is lefty partisans - no surprises.

Four employees won't be hard to replace........

For every top management employee, it was his subordinates who got him there.......

Unfortunately we don’t need to be concerned about their future jobs. Odds are they have already lined up lucrative lobbying jobs on behalf of their middle-east friends.
