The Mary Tyler Moore show was genius.
The casting was perfect and the show had most of the same writers as the early seasons of The Simpsons.
Still watch the reruns. It’s held up really well.
The only writer to work on both was James L Brooks. He cocreated MTM and The Simpsons is made by his company.
