THIS. Today’s crowd would do well to follow such a fine example.

MTM was a wonderful talent. She could do comedy and drama equally well. I used to love watching her show with my parents when I was little. R.I.P.

Maybe she was a bit liberal; but to her credit, she wasn’t obnoxious about it! She was quiet about her politics for the most part, and I can respect her for that. May God bless her; she was a highly talented and funny lady!

I only saw her in a few movies, but I do remember her in her t.v. comedy roles! The one movie I remember seeing her in was “Thoroughly Modern Millie” with Julie Andrews. But I did watch her in “The Dick Van Dyke” show a lot, and sometimes in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”.

“Everybody loved Mary. RIP.”

She did not make it after all.

Nobody lives forever.

80 with type 1 diabetes is miraculous.

No. According to her, she was talking about unfertilized eggs that were being thrown out. That might be wrong or controversial, but it’s not what you said, and she doesn’t merit abuse about that today.

I've been reading that she was a republican/libertarian in her latter years. In either case she was a fine specimen along with great talent.

Adding my intercessory prayer for her just in case she needs one.
