By all means, let's denigrate her memory. Please continue.
RIP
Uh oh. St Peter better watch out for that Ottoman.
RIP
Is it just me, or do the ones who are leaving us seem so much classier than the ones coming up?
“Moore, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 33 and suffered near blindness resulting from the disease in recent years, has also been a longtime advocate for researching cures for diabetes and served as the international chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She published a memoir on the subject, Growing Up Again: Life, Loves, and Oh Yeah, Diabetes, in 2009.”
Very unusual to be diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic so late in life, although that would have been in the late ‘60s-early 70s.
RIP
I have not denigrated anything. I asked a question.
Now who’s going to turn the world on with a smile?
I’d say she denigrated herself with that comment.
Godspeed Mary, RIP.
Beautiful lady.
Thanks for all the wonderful entertainment.
I am a huge fan of the Dick Vandyke show.
Yeah, right. If you wanted to find out the answer to that, you could have simply looked it up somewhere else on the internet. But, no, you chose to post your attempt at denigrating her memory on a thread that should be a remembrance of her life and career.

RIP.
For what’s it’s worth, I did search and found only stories about her death. So I though I would ask here.
Apparently this is a sensitive issue for you. Exalt her all you want, it does not change anything.
Rest In Peace Mary Tyler Moore. I will always remember Laura Petrie and Mary Richards.
No, she had diabetes early in life - throughout her career. I guess as she aged it truly had a bad effect on her health.
Sometimes it really IS better to say nothing.
Take it to heart.
