Microbursts leave absolutely no foot/fingerprints, especially if the pilot doesn’t survive it :( unless the altimeter is logged. I had one when the lake dropped 40ft and the big marina next to me’s docks were up against my dock, a microburst exploded, blowing all my french doors open and people off the marina docks and out of their boats. It was insane, like a bomb going off, dozens of people screaming, then still and quiet 2secs later.
Flipped a full 6-slip marina completely over.
My folks lost two trees and their power line and mast to their meter due to a microburst. One fell entirely on their property. The other tree demolished my folks' fence, and the neighbor kids' playhouse. Thankfully, the neighbors' kids were not out playing in the yard at that time. My folks were both away from the home when it happened. They were actually called by the power company requesting access to their property to fix the downed line. No other damage, no high winds, just a big burst then done, according to them and the neighbors.
