Have a friend that home schooled their children. Oldest one received a full scholarship to Texas A&M and got a degree in Mechanical engineering. Now works for Chevron. That says a lot about home schooling in my mind.
One of my homeschooled kids is studying Aerospace engineering and is interning at NASA. His job is controlling a research satellite.
All of my kids are independent and very well adjusted. Two moved out of state and are doing fine.
Not a snowflake in the bunch.
