Arizona Sen. John McCain on Sunday said that he is still uncertain about whether President Trump will lead a successful administration.
Asked if he has "confidence" in America's new commander in chief, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee twice said: "I do not know."
"I do not know because has made so many comments that are contradictory," McCain told ABC's George Stephanopoulos.
"But I think the fact that he's appointed and nominated these outstanding individuals is bound to be an encouraging sign," he continued. "I trust them and have worked with them over many years."

McCain, a Republican, has been a leading critic of Rex Tillerson, Trump's pick for secretary of State. But he admitted Sunday that he is impressed with the generals Trump has appointed to his administration.
"I have the utmost confidence in Gen. Mattis, Gen. Kelly and Gen. Flynn," he said. "I couldn't have picked a better Cabinet."

Unfortunately McCain just got re-elected for 6 more years and so did Little Marco. They think they are untouchable and they may be right. It’s disgusting.
The only hope I have is that old man McCain dies in office and our Republican governor appoints a better senator. The snarky Jeff Flake (Mormon John McCain clone)is up for re-election in 2018, we will have to work very hard to get rid of him.
McCain talks as though President Trump actually cares about his worthless opinion.

Hey McCain! Yo! Listen up. I have had zero confidence in you since about 1992 when you kept pushing for American “boots on the ground” in the Bosnia conflict. It seems to me that you are a weirdly bloodthirsty SOB who is willing to put our “boots on the ground” in every hell hole in the world. So eff you, McCain.
