What a mean, mean woman. I can’t believe she put her poor husband through that after the loss of his mother.
She is so full of hate that she couldn’t deny herself the pleasure of venting out of consideration for her husband.
Humiliating her husband while he was grieving was probably just a bonus to her. No doubt she’s been doing it for 30+ years without the leverage of a loss like that to really put him in his place.
