Funny the different interpretations we all got from this. I figured she went to the east coast to take part in the protest in DC - was leaving to go home from the Baltimore airport because her mother in law had died in Seattle or wherever. I couldn’t figure out why her husband had gone to the protest with her. But seeing how he reacted or didn’t REACT to her behavior, I realized he probably wouldn’t have had a choice!
Who on earth knows? I only know her MIL now has some peace.. Her husband is still on the hook however!
