Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995.
With respect to the section of the draft resolution relating to the transfer of embassies from Jerusalem, the Secretary of State said that the resolution was “fundamentally flawed” and that the U.S. considered that the instruction that states remove their diplomatic missions from Jerusalem, “not binding” and “without force”, and that “we reject it as a disruptive attempt to dictate to other nations.”
And your Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 was to put our embassy back into Jerusalem. And now 20 years later (and 35 years after we “refused” the original U.N. rule), Trump will be doing it!
I'm a little concerned though - he seems to be moving awfully fast on this. /S
