The left saw to it that Jerry Ford was portrayed as a bumbling idiot. He lost the election because of it.

Yes and that unfunny Chevy Chase was a big part of that.

Chevy Chase is about as funny as a Root Canal.
He can thank god for the producer, director and writers for his Vacation movies for his success.

Yep, I watched SNL in those days because it was so funny. It hurt to see them take down a good man. And Ford was a good man.
