His entire argument is false and baseless.
California is NOT (in any way) economically viable. Colorado and Texas (and now Nevada) are growing at much faster rates as businesses relocate out of California because of the oppressive taxation and regulatory environments.
He HAS to prop up California as the success story because it’s the only thing he can point to AS a success story.
“They had 2 million more votes for Clinton” - They had higher percentages for Trump in other blue states. He has to cite the raw numbers because it’s a feel good story for him - but it’s meaningless.
“Conservatives don’t exist in California” Actually they do - but california changed their laws so that run offs have to occur with candidates with the most popular votes - So if the Republican get 25% and Democrat A gets 26% and Democrat B gets 27% then the general public MUST vote between Democrat A and B for the primary candidates.
I can go on but...r emember this is the same state that voted overwhelmingly for Prop 8 (no gay marriage) and was overruled by 3 people and a government that refused to defend their own laws and constitution.
THAT is what this lib-prog is defending.
