Thanks for those talking points on CA. I personally think there are two tipping points out there: public pensions and the “bullet train” of Gov. Brown’s fevered imagination.

Yeah, both those things are symptoms of the Big Government Utopianism that is sucking CA dry. The ironic thing (to me) is that so many Silicon Valley entrepreneurs seems to embrace Big Government. There is definitely something wrong with that picture, so all must be not as it seems.

They embrace big government because they believe themselves enlightened and big Gov allows them to shove this enlightenment down everyone’s throat.

Many, if not most, depend on government, either for subsidies or to help put their competition out of business (or keep others from entering into the market.)
