Perfect analogy. Conservative's mistake has always been to assume we'll be treated as we treat them. Trump won because finally a candidate admits what we've observed, viz. that the enemy's (liberals/democrats) objective is to destroy us regardless how we behave.

For every concession we grant, they simply use that as one step closer to annihilating us. We either get in the gutter right now and fight, or we leave the fight to our grandchildren who, by then, might not have anything left for which to fight.

And the pimps and whores we've sent to Congress to speak for us? By now we realize they're in it purely for the career. They tell us what we want to hear, then when they get to DC, they do nothing more than positioning themselves for advancement in the DC Machine, regardless what we want.
