I did not think Melania looked angry at all. She didn’t look any different than she always looks - which is just lovely - and serious. She knows the sacrifices she will be making and also knows, I am sure, that her husband is at risk whenever he goes into the public realm. God bless her and God keep President and Mrs. Trump and their whole family safe!

The most poignant moment for me was when they were all on their way out and stopped at the foot of the Lincoln statue.

You just have to know that thoughts of Lincoln's end had to have caused at least fleeting thoughts through all their minds.

I'm not much for praying, but if there's a God of some kind that's listening, I surely hope He/She/It will grant safety and success to that family, for theirs and all our sakes.
