I agree with your post. She needed a pin, a scarf, or some nice earrings and a better hairstyle. But I still think the dress and coat were a much better choice than most of what she’s worn on public occasions.
I loved the coat! And I liked it with the black boots.
The dress was definitely towards the top of the list of her best styles. It would have been perfectly fine for going to a school and reading to kids, or some type of luncheon.
I guess my problem is it just didn’t seem ‘special’ enough for the event. Then again, I probably would have been complaining if she had tried to upstage Melania! LOL
