morning gw... yes, someone mentioned it yesterday and I apologize for not catching this. I assembled this opening with “this and that” from “here and there”

There were two maps I lifted from the Transition Threads and I did not check them carefully. Made the assumption (I KNOW - I KNOW) they were from this year.

A couple asides..

—the rain coming is a nightmare for the PR system, jumbo screens and the multitude of brass instruments. NOT TO MENTION all the people, children etc.

—I have to work 3-7 today. Hoping there will be a good tape to see it fully. After the parade if someone has a good link, would you ping me please to it?

—Hoping the coverage tonight is better than last night. Pretty disappointed in RSBN last night . The audio was awful and the two interviewers needed MUCH POLISH. The girl reminded me of a 16 year old “OH GOODIE” high schooler and the male just was rather embarrassing in the way he spoke, asked questions etc. I can’t believe there wouldn’t be great journalism interns that could do better. It is good they are going to be truthful but if they are going to take off as a legit media source they really need to clean up their act IMHO

—Everyone looked nice last night. Mrs. Pence wore an interesting gown but it did her NO FAVORS. I heard NIKKs comments re: fitting in w/Midwest.. hmmm. I think she will get some advice to look less matronly. She is a very pretty lady. Is full figured so obviously cannot dress like Melania but will be able to find designed that will show her off to her best advantage.

—Continuing to bathe the entire day — participants, LEO, bikers, attendees... Weather.. well we will see just how tough the folk are, won’t we?

—I think we will see a whole lot mess/clean up from this crowd. remember the past two inaug? The give me, free stuff attendees left the DC area look like the ghettos many of them came from
