Apparently Tom Steyer is under the impression that socialism will save the world. What always puzzles me is how people with this rather ignorant and mentally disturbed mindset are able to acquire such a fortune. All one has to do is just look around as there are enough examples to show how big a flop socialism has been. But invariable someone always thinks they have discovered a different flavor, which may be just the ticket and possible may work.

“If you ask me can I put a limit on how much I value the health, the safety, the employment and the civil liberties of Americans, there’s no limit to what I think that’s worth,” Steyer told Bloomberg in an interview.

The where the hell has he been the last 8 years? Those things were attacked on all fronts by Ohole!

What was that famous old phrase? Oh yes--

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Why don't Steyer just invest his money instead in companies that do construction work, because Trump's infrastructure plan will result in huge profits for many of them?

Well Tom, Hillary outspent Trump 10-to-1, and got JACK.

See, it’s not about spending. Not any more.

It’s about grassroots action. It’s about our passion.

You can’t buy that.

No limit???

Steyer's net wealth is about $1.6 billion. He's already pledged to give half of that to Bill Gates' charity, assuming Gates accepts this pittance (in comparison to Gates' wealth). That leaves Steyer with $800 million. If you give him a couple of million to be able to retire in a little bungalow outside Sacramento, he's got $798 million left.

Since Hillary spent twice that much in her failed attempt to beat Trump, I suspect Steyer will fare about the same.
