I worked as a veteran’s career counselor at the unemployment office for about two decades. One day a veteran came in and I looked up his quarters (past income by quarters of a year) and each was millions of dollars. He had owned an insurance company (not an agency, an actual company) and had sold it a year before to the French. He had agreed to stay on one year to help with the transition as an employee. Now he was in our office to file for UI, although he of course didn’t need it. Don’t put it past Kerry to do the same. He almost assuredly qualifies.
