I would imagine that if she flew the entire way, it would require the FAA to crate a "no fly zone" throughout the route - thus inconveniencing a larger corridor of people.
I don’t think so. Large airplanes would already be flying at a different altitude, and there aren’t all that many smaller planes flying all at one time.
The traffic around DC is really terrible.
