Excuse me but you’re sounding a bit like today’s phony journalists. The statement “recipe for disaster” is over the top. Hyperbole is usually found in a fake news piece.

Sorry, I just posted what I was thinking when I posted it. There are a lot of reasons people have pointed out to me why this will be just fine.

I was simply speaking from the observations I’ve made over the decades when non-trained people attempt to exercise authority in situations where tempers may be hot and conflict may be highly desirable by one side.

However, there are particulars here (the are only confronting those that get past the police, and many are ex-military who are actually trained) that significantly reduce risk.

Regarding motives, there is a difference between a comment thrown out on a forum and an article written by a paid writer.
