FULL TITLE: Marc Lamont Hill: Trumps Diversity Coalition A Bunch of Mediocre Negroes Dragged In As a Photo-Op
On Mondays CNN Tonight, Morehouse College Professor and CNN Commentator Marc Lamont Hill stated that President-Elect Donald Trumps diversity coalition was a bunch of mediocre negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo-op for Donald Trumps exploitative campaign against black people.
Hill said, I love Steve Harvey and I have respect for Steve Harvey and I think his intentions were accurate or appropriate rather, but my disagreement is the way in which hes being used by folk like Donald Trump. Again, his intention is just to have a seat at the table. But when youre at the table, you should have experts at the table. You should have people who can challenge the president at the table. Because all because they keep bringing up comedians and actors and athletes to represent black interests is demeaning, its disrespectful, and its condescending. Bring some people up there with some expertise Donald Trump, dont just bring up people to entertain.
He added, Unless Steve Harvey turns into a policy analyst in the behind the scenes meetings, it doesnt matter what I was Im saying, my concern is who the people hes trumpeting up and putting in front of the cameras.
After Trumps diversity coalition was raised, Hill stated, it was a bunch of mediocre negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo-op for Donald Trumps exploitative campaign against black people.

Hill comes up a bit short there.
It has been interesting to watch the discussion of this online. A FB friend of mine, whom I grew up with and who is black, commented that Steve Harvey is a “house Negro who came a-runnin’ when Massa called.” I didn’t have time or the inclination to engage him on this, but I wondered if he would describe MLK III this way, and how on earth he deals with MLK’s niece who VOTED for Trump. It did occur to me that this just another example of how being white, straight male does come with its privileges. A white, straight male can have his own ideas and associate with whomever he wants without being expelled from the tribe.
I thought negro was descriptive, not racist. We’re leaving PC behind.
The thing to take away from this is what kind of education one gets at an all-black college. Exactly the same as is occurring within the Mosques. The purpose is to drive as many wedges as possible between the core of this Nation and all of the minority groups.
The people whom he has called upon are those who are committed to Dr. King’s vision.
People should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.
A welcome relief from Al Sharpton and BLM.
Help!! Help!!! I’ve been triggered!!!! I need a safe space.
Perhaps you should remind your friend that Hill and his type resemble the black overseers on the plantation, put in place to keep the rest in line.
A perfect analogy.
Another 100% racist.
I caught the first few minutes of that show, turned it off when the chorus started singing!
Reminded me of:
Four and twenty blackbirds,
I guess brain surgery is easy.
This thread needs the picture of Fred Sanford saying “Lamont you big dummy”
Hey, Marc Lamont Hill: Jim Brown can kick your racist, commie ass.
Just good folks eager to free their people from the Democrats Plantation...
He had the Rev. Al Sharpton as his racial czar.
Oh wait, you asked for great black intellectuals on the guest list.
Nvm.
He continues to aspire to reach mediocrity,
“Morehouse College Professor and CNN Commentator Marc Lamont Hill”
Hill’s affiliations are testaments to his own mediocrity.
Jim Brown mediocre? Ask Sam Huff?
