KY looking good to relocate.
I live in KY. Jobs can be hit or miss. Most of eastern KY is God’s country, but there are pretty sobering levels of poverty and unemployment there. South central KY is the best region, IMO. Land is good for farming, and close enough to the larger towns and cities.
Louisville and Lexington are liberal bastions. Northern KY suburbs of Cincinnati are very red, and offer a good job market.
If you ever move to the Louisville area, do not move into Jefferson County (Louisville Metro). The liberal idiot mayor has allowed gang violence to go unabated. The public school there, JCPS, is a nightmare as well
I lived in Versailles KY near Lexington and liked it very much. It is a conservative town for the most part. Homes are very reasonable and small farms can be found nearby. It is horse country and home to many of the premier racehorse breeding farms. Keeneland a most beautiful racetrack is nearby.
