"Then rotate attendee questions!" Simpler and fairer to just rotate the attendees. Why should WaPo, NYT, CNN, etc. have "assured attendance"?? But I see no reason for a permanent press presence in the White House at all.

Rotate attendees....every 30 days and nobody can return for 12 months.
Every 30 days NBC has to send a new reporter, who gets 30 days and is then ineligible for 12 months.
