France WARNED the US AGAINST getting involved in Vietnam. Get your FACTS straight! The French underground saved our ass as well. Check out Eisenhower and Patton history and their direct statements on the subject! FYI, the entire Western World was saved in WW II by the defeat of Germany, not just the French. We were late to the war, but our industrial complex and fresh manpower made the difference.
