That whole $400 M thing came up in one of the FNC or FBN shows yesterday, and it's just a few paragraphs into the Wikipedia listing for BuzzFeed. One thing curiously missing from Wikipedia is, just what did NBC get for its $400M? There's no description of ownership in shares, or editorial rights, or anything else. I did not realize that NBC had so much money to throw into the wind with no expectation of return.

Maybe they thought "BuzzFeed" was short for "Buzzard Feed", so it was a vague reference to solar company windmills.

NBC is probably desperate to find out what the web is all about they obviously don’t have a clue.

It’s all part of the Media reporting on what “other, not named” media are reporting. They have no interest in the truth, no interest in facts.
They need to repeat a narrative, aka propaganda.

Thus, they spawn a bunch of tier two media outlets and do not reveal said tier two outlets are actually part of the, in this case, NBC mothership
