Did Gen. Mattis get that waiver yet? Was it passed in the House and in the Senate?
I am also wondering when the confirmation votes will take place for these candidates?
Mattis was ok’d by both. Voting will happen after DT is sworn in Friday. Some will be voted on next week. It is my understanding that it has been requested those dealing with national security will be first. But we will see what congress decides
I believe so. Would imagine the ones that are shoe-ins will occur quickly. The ones that are not will depend on negotiations............
If the GOP Senators are solid, it should only take a simple majority thanks to Harry “the battered” Reid.........
