We have MANY tourists who come to play in the snow, and leave their trash behind...
This weekend a nine year old little boy slid out on to the highway and under a car on his sled. He wasn’t seriously hurt.
The tourists who come here are all entitled California bay area liberals. I guess they think we should clean up after them as well as provide hospitality. There are photos in the local paper every week of the litter that our citizens go and scoop up to take to the dump after they leave. Seriously!
sissyjane our community goes through this EVERY summer, I live on the beach can’t tell you how many time I have been blocked in my driveway, beer cans EVERYWHERE, trash EVERYWHERE I hate summer months people are just SLOBS anymore YET they SCREAM about the environment!!!!
We have the privilege of that problem too.
Many, who live here, now take pictures and post on FB ect. hoping to shame folks into taking out whatever they brought in.
Used to fine trash throwers and leavers but not so much anymore.
Glad the young man was not seriously hurt, maybe a wake up call.
