You know ..... Maybe there is something that I missed.
Like maybe he owns a DeLorean with a time machine on it.
That way he could have more surgeries yesterday that he does today,
Or he could be walking today, despite being paralyzed before, just by reverting to a former self.
Or how days under the rubble could actually be a hour or two ... or no time at all.
Maybe he hasn’t joined the Marine Corps yet, but is planning to in the future and then transporting himself back to Beirut in time to run into the barracks before it explodes.
Or maybe he’s just a lying sack.
I think I’m gonna go with “lying sack.”
