U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power urged the Trump administration on Friday not to cut funding to the United Nations, warning that this would be detrimental to U.S. interests and benefit countries like China and Russia.
“We lead the world, in part, by leading at the United Nations,” Power stressed at her final press conference before leaving the U.S. Mission on Jan. 20 when Barack Obama’s presidency ends and Donald Trump is inaugurated as president.
Supporters of Israel in the U.S. Congress have introduced a number of bills to cut off U.N. funding to protest Obama’s decision to allow the adoption of a Security Council resolution in December condemning Israel’s construction of settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, which the Palestinians want for their future state.
The United States pays 22 percent of the U.N.’s regular operating budget and 25 percent of the budget for its 16 far-flung peacekeeping missions where over 100,000 troops and police are deployed. …

It hardly matters in comparison what constitution you have if GOD is blessing the country or organization. The bible says that when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn, and that when the righteous bear rule, the people rejoice. That is notably blind to what is on the paper. GOD is not hemmed in by paper, though in due time GOD can change what is on the paper.

The tree is GOD’S. It scarcely matters what the constitution says — remember America’s ensconced CHATTEL SLAVERY — when the time of blessing is at hand.
Now the American people had a chance to fix slavery, and didn’t. The judgment came! It was the Civil War.
But we have no right to rewrite all possible patterns of history.
So anyhow, if the Trump blessing turns into a UN blessing too, certainly America would be unwise — the world would be unwise — to fail to clear wrong things out of the UN charter. It very well could. But anyhow you are so hot to damn right NOW that you overlook how the Lord Himself is slow to anger.
And it is really up to you whether you now want to pretend this was the angle you were coming from all the time. I’ll forgive you — God will forgive you — if it wasn’t. But lies cannot be excused. Forgiven, yes! Not excused.
