I have no idea what you are talking about. The Texas legislature is conservative. It could pass border security laws that really work.

“The Texas legislature is conservative. It could pass border security laws that really work.”

So if what you say is true, how is it that Austin, home of the legislature, is about as big a crap hole as is Houston? What if the “Mexican Counties” along the Rio Grande don’t want to stay a part of “The New Texas?” My point is that this entire country needs to pull together to rid itself of Liberalism/Marxism. This inane “idea” that states pull out is pure nonsense. The last election paves the way for serious, lasting change. Perhaps if Trump fails (words he doesn’t understand), then dissembling the country might be an option, but the notion that various states can somehow “isolate” themselves from the basic problem is laughable. And doing so only kicks the can down the road for the present and does nothing to fix the future.
If these kind of “thought processes” had existed during our Revolution, we would never have succeeded in founding this country, and it never ceases to amaze me that people now want to stick their heads in the sand and take the easy way out instead of standing and fighting.
