Yes, and having the password of “password” or “passw0rd” counts as zero protection.
Back in the 1970’s I was the S-2 (Intelligence Officer) for my squadron. I had to maintain security of Classified information that included data on 1950’s Soviet armaments. I even had to post Marines outside the doors of the briefing room while we covered this info.
Classified is CLASSIFIED. Private photos taken inside a US submarine are definitely off limits unless specifically authorized by the relevant authority.
“Everybody’s doin’ it” is no defense. Hillary has also (probably) gotten away with murder, or at least, “putting out a contract” on someone. That does not make murder OK.
I would rather Hillary go to jail for her crimes, than excuse others wjo were jailed for crimes.
That is the equal treatment required here.
And calling on Trump for the clemency ain't too bright either - especially since we know he thinks what Hillary did should have her in jail...
This Sailor got what he deserved. He knew better, no cameras in classified spaces.
He took pictures of things he had absolutely no business photographing, not running the photos by the security officer and then lying and trying to cover it up.
RE: This Sailor got what he deserved. He knew better, no cameras in classified spaces.
Let’s compare this side by side with another case:
Hillary Clinton DID NOT get what she deserved. She knew better, no emailing of classified information using a private email server.
