I don’t agree. If I said “What was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the shooting” I would mean nothing more than “What was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the shooting” - as in, “Damn... THAT’S weird!”
As it is, you hold Trump accountable for something he didn’t say because you say if he came out and said it he’d be risking a libel suit... well, he DIDN’T come out and say it, and you don’t have the ability to mind read (neither do I, so for all I know he really COULD believe it).
Regardless - Cruz did well yesterday and I was happy to see him stand up to the vile Democrats and say stuff the Republicans are too polite (or cowardly) to say.

I’m sure that by now everyone in the US is aware that the fools at the National Enquirer did it on Trump’s behalf, knowing full well that it was absurd and libelous.
