See, that is where I have problems with Christianity. At least in Judaism, hatred of evil is a-OK. You literally do not have any power to “forgive” anyone of anything unless 1) they sinned against you directly and 2) they ask for forgiveness a few times, sincerely, describing what they are willing to do to make it up to you. To us, hating evil is good. It’s the best purpose of hate.
I didn’t say he didn’t deserve punishment or that justice shouldn’t have served in the form of the death penalty.
That is human justice.
God’s justice is completely different and not for us to say.
Manson lived an evil life. He also had a horrible start in life and I suspect may be mentally ill. That doesn’t justify his actions at all, but may explain them, in part.
The best is when the worst is redeemed.
