“You are wrong, Jesse was a UDT(Frogman), he never completed the extra 26 weeks of training that “Frogmen” had to endure before becoming a Navy “Seal”. The Navy Seals were not a unit until the mid 80’s, Jesse left the Navy in the mid 70’s.”
JFK established Seal Team 1 and Seal Team 2 in 1962.

The Navy SEAL Teams were designed as the maritime counterpart to the Army Special Forces “Green Berets.” They deployed immediately to Vietnam to operate in the deltas and thousands of rivers and canals in Vietnam, and effectively disrupted the enemy’s maritime lines of communication.”
Regardless, Ventura was not a SEAL.
