I agree with you, EVERY provably dishonest thing they say or proclaim needs to be run-over with a steam roller. Dubya was a gentleman and ignored the barbs and took the high ground. Look what it got him. The ‘Everything that’s wrong is Bush’s fault’ meme, and that persists to even this day. Obama used it for years until even the media said enough was enough.
I am pleased as punch to see PEOTUS Trump, swing back at the insults and slurs directed his way. And really... for all I know he blasts it out on Twitter and continues to do his work while the MSM and his critics stew in their vile juices and keep on commenting on ‘it’.
Notice how the criticism and insults only become “immature” when Trump fires back? He knows well enough to never let an adversary control the dialog because they can then frame the issue and hold him against it. He is a wise negotiator.
