Yeah, but Hillary had a lot of help being stupid (smirk).

Hillary's debates came off looking good (though they were fixed) and she looked good after the convention. But her campaign fell off a cliff, after Obama gave her a push. Obama had a habit of raining on Hillary's parade.

Burnishing his (gg) legacy is all he ever thinks about b/c it means big bucks for his foundations.

So his sap-happy "I'm Great" messaging forced Hillary to follow his lead and run for a third Obama term. She no longer ran on change, she ran on Obama's continued progressiveness in a country crying for change.

She lost the election in the final two weeks because of avoidable things like Obama embracing her that sent the electorate a frightening message.

The Royal Idiot's ringing endorsement of Hillary meant many people had moved over to the Trump side.

CAUTION: prolonged viewing causes violent retching.

"I flacked her on AF One and she lost four points.
This frickin' faked pose oughta be good for a point."

=================================================

Despite his braggadocio, Obama’s legacy is a devastated Democratic Party; his party is smaller, weaker and ricketier than it has been since at least the 1940s.

Behold the tremendous power that Democrats have frittered away — from January 2009 through the aftermath of Election Day — thanks to Obama and his ideas:

•Democrats surrendered the White House to political neophyte Donald J. Trump.

•US Senate seats slipped from 55 to 46, down 16 percent.

•US House seats fell from 256 to 194, down 24 percent.

•Democrats ran the Senate and House in 2009. Next year, they will control neither.

•Governorships slid from 28 to 16, down 43 percent.

•State legislatures (both chambers) plunged from 27 to 14, down 48 percent

•Trifectas (states with Democrat governors and both legislative chambers) cratered from 17 to 6, down 65 percent.

In terms of boosting his party’s state-level strength, Obama is the worst president since World War II. Reagan is the best.

Democrats can chant the soothing lie that this wholesale, multi-level rejection of their party stems from “structural racism,” the legacy of Jim Crow, the immortal tentacles of slavery, or whatever other analgesic excuse they can scrounge up. The same nation that they claim cannot outgrow its bigotry somehow elected and then re-elected Obama, quite comfortably.

This deep-rooted repudiation is not of Obama himself, but of Obamaism, today’s Democratic gospel. (hat tip Deroy Murdock NY Post)

I think you forgot to mention that Hilary self-destructed with the computer screw up at her home and in trying to hide it made it go ballistic. Tack that on the leaks made her look incompetent and weak. This was caused by BSers like James Comey and Ron Podesta.

But here’s some other thoughts:

Trump won 279 electoral votes to Clinton’s 218, although she won the popular vote, and the margins in the states where he scored stunning upsets were very close in Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. Still the last three are states that haven’t voted for a Republican for president since the 1980s. She lost the base that has been a “gimme” for over 30 years.

Hilarys entire campaign was based on old media and conventional tactics. Trump had an entire conversation with millions of people outside the media filter. He earned millions in “free media” by baiting the media to talk anything about him.

On October 24, the federal government informed Americans all over the country that they would be socked with double-digit Obamacare premium increases. Something like 2 percent of the State of Minnesota was facing the big premiums without extra help from the federal government.
True, some (if not most) will find those premiums offset by subsidies and tax credits. But not all. And that didn’t stop the headlines. Typical headline: “Obamacare Premiums to Soar 22%.”

So what were they thinking when they had her appear with a bunch of celebrities at the end? Donald Trump didn’t have to appear with a series of celebrities at the end. He was the celebrity. And we live in a celebrity-driven country. Clinton is a political figure. But somehow he became the hero of blue collar working class folk, while she lost the working class. The votes in certain states added up.
